Nurses: The Unsung Heroes - MIPs of Every Hospital

n.b. - Let's make MIP part of our modern vocabulary!!

May seem contrived - but check with any of my nurses!

Bottom line: Nursing is the most skilled, overworked, and underpaid/appreciated job - period!

The problem is (similar to physicians) the newer generation of nurses and potential nurses are well aware of this, and if we are lucky enough to get a "superstar"- it is a near guarantee that they will sooner or later become NAs, NPs or leave! For those new grads or undergrads considering the field, know that you are the most important group in the hospital.

Be proud! Though accolades and and approval may be rare, KNOW your worth!
